This Privacy Policy explains what information this website ("the Site") collects, how it is used, and what choices you have. This Site is operated by Hoshang Sheth, an independent AI engineer and sole proprietor based in Mumbai, India ("I", "me"). The Site is a portfolio and lead-generation site describing AI, automation, and software engineering services provided to clients - it does not run any interactive product, account system, or AI feature on your behalf, and it does not process payments.
Information I Collect
Information you provide directly. If you submit the contact form on this Site, I collect:
- Your name
- Your company or business name
- Your email address
- Your phone number (optional)
- Your message
- How you heard about me (an optional dropdown selection)
The form includes a hidden spam-prevention field that ordinary visitors never see or interact with. It is not used to collect any information about you.
Technical information. This Site does not run any analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts, and does not set cookies of its own. Standard web server logs (such as those kept by the hosting provider) may record basic technical details like IP address and browser type for security and reliability purposes, as is standard for any website on the internet.
Cookies
This Site itself does not set or read cookies. If you submit the contact form, the third-party service that processes it (Formspree, see below) may set cookies on its own domain as part of handling that submission - that is governed by Formspree's own policies, not this one.
How Information Is Used
Information submitted through the contact form is used solely to:
- Respond to your inquiry
- Discuss a potential project or discovery call
- Keep basic records of prospective and existing client contacts
Your information is never sold, rented, or used for advertising, and is not used to train any AI model.
AI Processing
This Site does not run any AI features on visitor data. No information you submit through the contact form is processed by an AI model, on this Site or otherwise. (This policy covers the website only - it does not describe how AI systems are built for clients under separate, individually contracted engagements.)
Uploaded Files
This Site does not accept file uploads of any kind. The contact form only accepts typed text.
Where Your Information Is Stored
Contact form submissions are transmitted securely to and stored by Formspree, a third-party form-handling service, which forwards each submission to my email inbox. I separately keep a record of client and prospective-client contact details in a private spreadsheet, used only for managing ongoing and prospective client relationships. No contact-form data is stored in a database operated by this Site - there isn't one.
Data Retention
I retain contact and inquiry information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry, manage a potential or active client relationship, and maintain basic business records. You may request deletion of your information at any time (see "Your Rights" below). For how long Formspree itself retains submission data on its servers, please refer to Formspree's own Privacy Policy, linked below.
Third-Party Services
This Site relies on a small number of third-party services to operate:
- Formspree - processes and delivers contact form submissions. See Formspree's Privacy Policy.
- WhatsApp - if you click the WhatsApp button on this Site, you leave this Site and open a chat in WhatsApp directly. Any conversation there is governed by WhatsApp's own privacy policy, not this one.
- Google Fonts / Fontshare - this Site loads typefaces from these font providers, which may see the IP address of the device requesting the font file, as is standard for any website using web fonts.
I do not use any analytics, advertising, or tracking service on this Site.
Payments
This Site does not process payments and has no checkout or billing functionality. Invoicing and payment terms for actual client engagements are handled separately, through individually signed project agreements, outside of this website.
Analytics
This Site does not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any similar analytics or advertising tool.
International Visitors
This Site is accessible to visitors worldwide, and I work with clients internationally. Because Formspree operates in the United States, information you submit through the contact form may be transmitted to and processed in the United States as part of that service. By submitting the form, you understand your information may be handled outside your home country as described here.
Your Rights
You may ask me at any time to:
- Confirm what information I hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your information from my records and spreadsheet
To exercise any of these, email me at hoshangsheth@gmail.com. I will action reasonable requests promptly. Note that I cannot delete data already held by Formspree on its own systems - that request should also be directed to Formspree if needed.
Children's Privacy
This Site is intended for business audiences and is not directed at children. I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 13. If you believe a child has submitted information through this Site, contact me and I will remove it.
Security
Form submissions are transmitted over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. While no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, I take reasonable, industry-standard measures to protect the information you share with me.
Changes to This Policy
I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the Site or my business practices change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version. Continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
